The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) is acquiring lands throughout the State for development of industrial areas and allotting land to the eligible entrepreneurs. The land compensation is being paid in accordance with the Rules to the erstwhile land owners as per the agreement rates. Further, compensation is also being paid for the malkies and structures existing in the acquired land as per the valuations made by the concerned. Departments. In case, the erstwhile land. owners did not accept for the agreement rates, award will be passed and award amount will be deposited in the Civil Court.
But, some of the erstwhile land owners after receiving higher compensation enhanced by the Civil Court are obstructing to the industrial activities/ civil works in the industrial area on the ground that they have been paid compensation less than the agreement rates. Many industrialists are approaching the senior officers and requesting to resolve the issues.
Therefore, to facilitate the entrepreneurs for smooth implementation of their projects in the plots allotted/ taking up of civil works, following Complaint Redressal Authority is constituted and powers have been delegated to resolve the local issues pertaining to the lands allotted in favour of entrepreneurs:

The above authorities are requested to take necessary action to resolve the issues faced. by the entrepreneurs on priority and maintain entrepreneur friendly atmosphere.
